The PARA Assembly is composed of the Executive Board and delegates from the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary. Each university has twenty (20) delegates, separated into two groups: Program Liaisons and Members at Large
The PARA Assembly supports the strategic direction of the Association and is responsible for ensuring that the interests of all PARA Members are represented. Through their work on the Assembly, resident physicians access opportunities to fulfill several CanMEDS roles:
- develop their leadership skills
- liaise with health and medical education stakeholders
- represent Alberta’s resident physicians at the regional, provincial and national levels
Our intention is to continually improve resident physicians’ professional and personal lives.
