RIL is a non-partisan event that focuses on health care issues relevant to all Albertans. It provides an opportunity for resident physicians to have an impact on health care and gain experience in the CanMEDS roles of health advocate, leader and communicator.
A mandatory, in-person training session is part of the event. This training session helps resident physicians communicate and advocate with MLAs in a cohesive, effective and informed manner.
Travel, accommodation and meal costs for out of town participants will be reimbursed by PARA.
