Call for Nominations: 2024-2025 PARA Assembly

Consider being part of the 2024-2025 PARA Assembly! As your professional association, PARA offers a platform where your participation directly benefits you and your colleagues.

The PARA Assembly plays a pivotal role in guiding the strategic direction of the Association and ensuring the interests of all PARA members are represented. By joining the Assembly, resident physicians can:

• Develop leadership skills
• Liaise with health and medical education stakeholders
• Represent Alberta’s resident physicians at regional, provincial and national levels

An orientation session for new Assembly Delegates will be held virtually on Wednesday, August 15, from 7-8:30 p.m. The first PARA Assembly meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, August 21, 2024, in Edmonton from 12-5 p.m. Bussing will be provided for those travelling from Calgary. Attendance is expected for all Assembly Delegates.

Important Dates:

• Nominations Deadline: 11:59 p.m. on Monday, July 22, 2024
• Elections Open: July 25 - August 5, 2024
